247 – O Globo newspaper, which sponsored Lava Jato, an operation that alienated national sovereignty, unemployed 4.4 million Brazilians, harmed democracy, and allowed the rise of fascism, has come out in defense of the suspicious ex-judge Sergio Moro, in an editorial published this Wednesday. According to the newspaper, which was complicit in the process of destroying the national economy, the "accusation against Moro defies logic and reality."

Moro is accused of illegal campaign financing and excessive campaign spending by using resources from a fund designated for the presidential campaign. O Globo, which during Lava Jato supported Moro and pressured the entire justice system to prevent the current president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva from running in 2018, now claims that the 2 million votes for the suspicious ex-judge for the Senate cannot be ignored.

"In the case of acquittal in the TRE-PR, it is considered certain that the accusers will appeal to the Superior Electoral Court (TSE). But no court can succumb to partisan interests or stray from facts and laws. The risk of a cassation motivated by such weak accusations is not just to curb the vote of nearly 2 million Moro's voters but to question the credibility of the Electoral Justice itself," writes the editorialist, who, with the text, reveals that Globo continues to be a partner in the project of national destruction.
